SQUADS

Continuing on from our learn to swim we offer squad classes held in our heated 50m pool for those wishing to further advance their skills. Our coaches are qualified and trained to give you the appropriate technique corrections and sessions to help you and/or your children to become fitter and faster in the water.

OUR SQUADS
BRONZE

To be in our Bronze squad children must be able to comfortably achieve everything laid out in our Level 7 guidelines.

Bronze squad members will work towards the following:

  • Freestyle 100m

  • Backstroke 100m

  • Breaststroke 50m

  • Basic butterfly

  • Tumble turns and push offs

60-minute session in our 50m pool

GEAR: Kick board, pull buoy and flippers
SILVER

To be in our Silver squad children must be able to comfortably achieve everything laid out in our bronze squad guidelines.

Silver squad members will work towards the following:

  • Freestyle 200m

  • Backstroke 200m

  • Breaststroke 100m

  • Butterfly 25m

  • Medley 100m

  • Dives

60-minute session in our 50m pool

GEAR: Kick board, pull buoy and flippers

GOLD

To be in our Gold squad children must be able to comfortably achieve everything laid out in our silver squad guidelines.

Gold squad members will work towards the following:

  • Freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke repeats.

  • Freestyle 400m

  • Medley - 100m & 200m

  • Race dives and turns

60-minute session in our 50m pool

GARY'S SQUAD

Join Coach Gary for his morning squad sessions!

We can guarantee you will be worked hard in this squad. Gary is here to help you smash any swimming goals you may be working towards. You will become fit and fast with Gary writing sessions specific to help you achieve your goals!

1 hour sessions, no capacity limit

OPTIONAL GEAR: Kick board, pull buoy and flippers

All patrons entering the facility are required to pay the applicable entry fee. Entry is not permitted without payment, unless part of an approved program or arrangement

Adult (15 years and over): $7.25
Child (2-14 years): $5.40
Child (under 2 years): Free
Student (15 years and over): $6.50*
Concession: $5.95*
Family pass (1 adult and 2 children): $15.55

Additional adult: $6.55

Additional child: $4.70

*We honour the Queensland Government Companion Card. This allows free entry for accompanying a person with a disability who requires attendant care support*
